The Tenzor Team spent an eventful weekend in Abrau-Durso at the first stage of one of the most prestigious Russian series of sailing regattas – the National Sailing League of the 2022 season.
A strong fleet of 16 teams and titled rivals met in the waters of the picturesque lake Abrau, where for three racing days they managed to fully enjoy the fight, adrenaline and good wind.
The organizers held 26 races, so each team had 13 races in its assets.
On the first day of the race, which pleased the participant with an excellent south wind of 10-12 knots, the crew of Andrey Pushkin’s Tenzor Legal gained a foothold in the top three. Tenzor Sport crew led by Milena NIkitina ended up in ninth position due to a false start and unsuccessful arrivals in several races.
On the second day of the race, the participants continued to fight in the water area. The slightest mistakes seriously affected the result and the positional placement in the rating. Andrey Pushkin’s team missed the lead several times after good starts, which threw the team back several positions. It turned out to be a difficult day for the crew of Milena Nikitina.
The final day left chances for many participants to improve their situation, but the calm and lack of wind allowed the organizers to hold only one race.
The second arrival of Tenzor Legal allowed the crew of Andrey Pushkin, Pavel Sozykin, Timofey Zubkov and Nikita Ushkov to climb into the top six in the final classification. Milena Nikitina’s Tenzor Sport remained on the 9th line of the rating.
The Arttube, ZIDart Sailing Team and Calipso teams were among the three winners of the stage.
