The Principality of Monaco is actively preparing for Christmas, and the Monaco Yacht Club is getting ready to welcome the final sports regatta of this year – the ACT2 of the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series 2021/2022.
Yachtsmen from all over the world will once again gather in this European capital of sailing and yachting to compete for the podium from December 9th to 12th and consolidate their tournament position in the overall standings of the Series.
The regatta will be held in a traditional format: the first day will be devoted to registration of participants and a practice race, then the teams will have three full-fledged racing days. Prize giving will take place on December 12th.
The lists of participants continue to grow, and at least a dozen new teams from Turkey, Switzerland, the USA, the Netherlands and other countries will represent their countries at the prestigious Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series 2021/2022 regatta.
The Russian Tenzor Team will continue to fight in the Series with two crews. There will be a change in the composition of Andrey Pushkin’s Tenzor Legal team: the injured Pavel Sozykin will be replaced by Andrey Kirilyuk, Timofey Zubkov and Nikita Ushkov will complete the crew. The second Tenzor Sport crew will perform with the same composition: Milena Nikitina, Daniil Odintsov, Alexander Grishunin and Alexander Andriyanov.
Andrey Pushkin (Tenzor Legal helmsman): “We are waiting for the second stage of the MSWS 2021/2022 Series and new rivals. It will be an interesting fight, and of course, we are waiting for a good wind. Wave and wind conditions due to the features of the landscape here in Monaco are very different from the usual conditions in Russian water areas, so for me, as a helmsman, this is a new and very useful experience. Our team is very well-coordinated, and at the first stage we showed that we can compete and fight for high results. I am very glad that we are supported by our partners – ERSO and Tenzor Consulting Group, as well as the “Vedomosti Sport”. We will do our best to finish this sports season and 2021 year on a high note!“.
