The training course in Turkey opened the sailing season 2023 for the Tenzor Team

From February 26 to January 29, the Tenzor Team held the training corse in Turkey.

The crew of Andrey Pushkin, Daniil Odintsov, Alexander Andrianov and Nikita Ushkov, along with five other Russian and Turkish teams, settled in the Netsel Marina in Marmaris.

The four-day training course was held under the professional guidance of coach Alexander Ekimov. The teams practiced technique, trained speed, worked with settings, and also raced on a short regatta organized on the final day of the training curse. The practice was very fruitful for the Tenzor Team, it was possible not only to work as a team and establish interaction in the crew, but also to get acquainted with the water area and its features, since the Turkish summer series starts here in March, and the crew of Andrei Pushkin will take part in it throughout the 2023 season.

Tenzor Team tactician Daniil Odintsov shared his impressions about the training.

The training course was very interesting and fruitful. The first day was especially productive. We walked in a strong wind and smooth water. Rarely, where you will meet such conditions. All the teams had a lot of fun, visited the coaching sessions. Three of the four days we were on the water. One day we walked in a strong wind, two in a fairly weak wind of 6-8 knots. On the final day, we made two exits, chased at the training regatta. Igor Rytov’s crew won, we became the second, Kirill Frolov’s team – the third. At the second training session, we were looking for speed, we changed a lot in the boat settings and, in my opinion, it went better. Thanks to coach – Ekimov Aleksandr, who told us a lot of useful things and showed us our mistakes. We are planning another training course at the end of February in the same concept“.
